Modelo Equidad de Género - MEG
El Instituto Nacional de las Mujeres (INMUJERES) tiene como unos de sus objetivos promover una cultura de respeto y participación equitativa de mujeres y hombres en la vida económica del país y una de sus herramientas para hacerlo es el programa de certificación en equidad y genero, a través del Modelo de Equidad de Genero MEG:2003
En otras palabras, uno de los objetivos rectores del gobierno federal, es poner a disposición de las mujeres y los hombres los recursos y los medios para que desarrollen integralmente sus capacidades, tengan acceso, control y disfrute efectivo de los servicios y beneficios del desarrollo del país, y decidan en condiciones de equidad en todos los aspectos de la vida nacional. En este marco, dentro del programa de “Certificación sobre Equidad de Género”, se presenta el Modelo de Equidad de Género MEG: 2003, que es promovido y coordinado por el Instituto Nacional de las Mujeres.
